Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 21, 2026 · Updated September 28, 2026
The PLANN3R is a personal planning application available at
theplann3r.com, operated by The PLANN3R LLC, a Utah
limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what
information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version:
we collect only what the app needs to work, we don't sell or share your data, and
you can delete everything at any time.
Information we collect
- Google account basics. When you sign in with Google we receive your
name, email address, and Google account identifier. We use these to create and
identify your account.
- Planner content. The plans you create in the app — daily priorities,
scheduled events, to-dos, goals, key indicators, habits and habit logs, and
reflections — is stored so it can follow you across devices.
- Google Calendar data. If you use the calendar features, we create and
update events on your Google Calendar that you choose to sync, and read events for
a day when you choose to import them. We do not access your calendar in the
background — only in direct response to your actions in the app.
- Outlook calendar data (optional). If you choose to connect a Microsoft
account, we create and update events on your Outlook calendar that you choose to sync,
and read events for the days you view so they can appear in your planner. The
authorization token is stored server-side, is never sent to your browser, and is
deleted the moment you disconnect Outlook in the app.
- Photos. If you attach photos to a day's reflection, they are stored
privately in our object storage (Netlify Blobs), are visible only to your signed-in
account, and are deleted when you remove them or delete your account.
We do not collect analytics identifiers, advertising identifiers, or location data.
How we use information
Solely to provide The PLANN3R's features: authenticating you, storing and displaying
your planner, and syncing with the calendars you connect when you ask it to. We do not use your
data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties
except the service providers that run it on our behalf: Netlify (hosting), Neon
(database storage), and Resend (the emails we send you, such as trial reminders).
AI features. Quick Add, the Weekly Review, and Scan-a-page are powered by
Anthropic's Claude API. These features run only when you invoke them, and only the
content needed for that request is sent — the line of text you typed, the
week being reviewed, or the photo of the planner page you chose to scan (the photo is
processed for that request and is not stored on our servers). Under Anthropic's commercial terms this data is not used to
train their models. The result is shown to you and stored only where you choose to
place it in your planner.
How your data is stored and protected
- All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
- Your planner data and Google authorization tokens are stored in our database
(Neon, encrypted at rest). Authorization tokens are used only on our servers and
are never sent to your browser.
- Sessions use signed, HttpOnly cookies valid for 30 days.
Data retention and deletion
- Your data is kept for as long as your account is active.
- You can revoke The PLANN3R's access to your Google account at any time at
myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- To delete your account and all stored data, email
andrew@theplann3r.com from your
account's email address. Deletion is completed within 30 days.
- If you use the app without an account ("local mode"), your data stays in your
browser's local storage and never reaches our servers; clearing your browser data
removes it.
Children
The PLANN3R is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect
information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update this page and its effective date. Continued
use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
